This week I didn’t get much video due to showing up late, and the clouds making it dark early, but here’s what I did come up with anyways.
It got cropped goofy because I had the settings wrong, and it’s really short. But you should still check it out anyway.
Pierre made time in his (currently) busy schedule to upload the pictures he took from August 6th. For now, I slapped the lot into a gallery at photobucket since hosting them all here would be cumbersome.
To see the whole collection, hit the photobucket link. But here’s a sampling of some I thought were cool.
Another stand around means another video of course. As always, the best way to watch it is directly on YouTube with the “High Quality” link under the video.
The new crossover seems to run pretty well. The giant 20 foot chasm might be a bit much for some, but it didn’t cause too much trouble.
Tried something a little different with the intro for the hell of it (and partly because I didn’t have a huge amount of car footage this week).
It turns out setting up a webcam via Justin.tv really is that easy. You can find the track cam directly at Justin.tv or on the Track Webcam page on the sidebar.
If you signup for an account at justin.tv you can ‘favorite’ the channel and it will send you email any time the camera goes live. You can also chat with other viewers if you have an account. If you click on the blue bar on the right side (on the justin.tv site only), it will list the names of other people that are logged in and viewing at the same time.
Right now it’s up and down a lot as Pete experiments with it. Should be pretty cool to be able to have Wednesday Race Night live on the cam, and be able to archive them for later viewing too.
If you’d like to toss Pete some cash to support the track, you can donate via PayPal using the donate button on the sidebar.
And don’t forget, there are options other than cash support listed on the Support the Track page.
Here’s this weeks video – Don’t forget to use the ‘Watch in High Quality’ link on the tube.
I shot some of the video, then Pete shot some with my camera, since I finally got to drive!
Good times.
